Careers at MIBA Energy

We're a Rio Grande Valley solar company building something honest — local crews, real usage-based design, and support that doesn't disappear after the install. If that sounds like the kind of work you want to do, we'd like to meet you.

Solar Sales Consultant

McAllen, TX — serving the Rio Grande Valley

Help Rio Grande Valley homeowners understand their real electricity usage and design a solar system that actually fits their home — not a proposal built to maximize commission. We sell the honest way: real usage data, itemized pricing, and no pressure.

TDLR verification required

Solar sales roles in Texas require verification through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. MIBA Energy will confirm your TDLR status before you begin selling.

What you'll do
  1. 01Review 12 months of a homeowner's actual utility usage and size systems to real consumption
  2. 02Walk customers through cash price, financing terms, monthly payment, and total amount financed
  3. 03Coordinate with the design and install team so what you quote is what gets built
  4. 04Be the point of contact after the sale — we answer the phone after install
What we're looking for
  • Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) verification required
  • Strong communication skills and comfort explaining utility bills and financing
  • Honest, consultative approach — we don't do high-pressure closers
  • Comfortable with the RGV market and bilingual a plus
Operations · Full-time

Solar Installer (Operations)

McAllen, TX — field work across the RGV

Install residential solar and battery backup systems the right way — flashed and sealed roof mounts, Tier 1 panels, Enphase microinverters, and Tesla Powerwall. Our crews live in the Valley, not flown in for a season.

What you'll do
  1. 01Install roof racking, mount panels, and wire microinverters to South Texas wind-load standards
  2. 02Mount and commission Tesla Powerwall and battery backup systems
  3. 03Coordinate permits, inspections, and AEP Texas interconnection with the office team
  4. 04Keep job sites clean, safe, and respectful of customers' homes
What we're looking for
  • Comfortable with residential rooftop work and working safely at heights
  • Basic electrical and mechanical skills
  • Experience with solar racking, panel mounting, or battery install preferred — we train the right people
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic

Work with people who answer the phone after the install.

MIBA Energy is based in McAllen and built on doing right by the homeowner. You'll join a local team that designs from real usage data, installs Tier 1 equipment, and stands behind the work — not a crew that disappears once the panels are up.
